THE COURSE WORK

Screenwriting Kids offers a fun, interactive course for kids ages 11 to 16 years old.
(Although kids as young as 8 years old have successfully completed the course.)

Our online course starts off with very basic screenwriting principles then gradually progresses to more advanced screenwriting concepts. By the end of the course, young screenwriters will know how to format a script and tell a complete story through interesting,dynamic characters.

Here's a bit more about the course

• All lessons are instructor narrated.
• Each lesson includes clips from popular kids movies
• Each lesson includes assignments that are submitted for instructor feedback
• Each lesson includes additional learning materials, resources and printable handouts
• At the end of the course, there is a final exam which includes a full feature kids film
• Course includes one 15-minute telephone consultation and unlimited email correspondence with instructor

There is no class schedule. You can register at any time.
